Both Lowe's and Home Depot have some great free kid's events on the weekends. This weekend at Lowe's, kids (and parents) can build a Tabletop basketball goal in honor of March Madness. For more information go here. Riley enjoys doing these projects with her daddy. Kids are given a store apron along with pins that show what projects they have completed to add to their aprons. I would call before you go to make sure that particular location will be holding the event. Even if you are unable to make it, sometimes if you ask at the front desk the following week, they will gladly give you the project kit for you to do at home.
