CVS/Walgreens/Target coupon match-ups

Here are the coupon match-ups for Target, CVS, and Walgreens this week. To be honest, I haven't gotten the chance today to check them out, so all I know about are the cheap diapers at CVS (I already picked up two packages!).

Another highlight - if you scan your card at the kiosk, a $1 off any CVS hair care item will print. The CVS brand shampoos and conditions are only $.99, so grab those and pay NOTHING!

Check Expiration Dates at HEB

Just a heads up for HEB shoppers - if you find something on the shelf that is expired, grab both. When you get to the register, explain you found an item expired, and they'll give you the other one FREE! It's a great store policy that I've been able to take advantage of a few times, today being one of them. When buying formula today, I found 2 Nestle GoodStart ready to feed formula packages, $8.99 each, expired. After my coupons and the expiration date policy, my total was $13.89 for everything in the picture - a savings of $45.98!

"The Princess and the Frog" DVD, $4.99 each!

"The Princess and the Frog" ($19.99) was on sale BOGO at Toys R' Us today, and paired with my 2 $5 coupons, I got both for $10.81! A savings of $32.47! One will be for Riley's birthday, the other will be going in the "gift closet."

The "gift closet" is our way of saving for birthday parties the girls are invited to. Whenever we can get a great deal on different toys, movies, games, etc., we buy and store. Then when they have upcoming parties, we don't have to run out to buy gifts - saving us time and money!

Free Kid's Events Tomorrow

Tomorrow, March 27th, starting at 10 am, Lowes will have a FREE Build and Grow clinic available for kids! They’ll learn how to build a Kaleidoscope! Sounds like fun! Kids get their apron, pins, and certificates after completing it. My sister saw this one, and said it looked really neat. If you can't make it,but will be around a Lowe's later this week, it doesn't hurt to ask if they still have kits available.

Also, on the 27th, from 10am to 1pm, Michael’s will have a FREE Create spring projects with New Crayola Model Magic Presto Dots event! Check out all the details here. You do have to purchase your supplies at Michael's, then stay and they will help you create your project.

Toys R Us is having a FREE Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, 3/27, from noon to 2pm! They will also be giving out FREE gift bags, activity books and more! I've checked with the Waco location and they will be having this!

Smucker's Uncrustable coupon $1/1

Smucker's has a new link to print a coupon for $1/1 box of Smucker's Uncrustable sandwhiches. Go here, fill in the information, and it will let you print the coupon. Remember to hit the back button a couple of times, and it will print another coupon, for a total of 2. I don't know Walmart's price on these, but the last time I was at Target each box was $2.04, so $1.04 after coupon. There are 4 in each box.

We grab these when we are going into Waco or somewhere longer. You keep them frozen, but as we travel they defrost and make for good snacks when we're running around town.

Cellfire has released some new coupons that you can add to your Kroger card. These are nice at Kroger because they can be paired with paper coupons to get items for free. Last week on my Kroger trip, I used these to score free Warm Delights bowls, cake frosting, and cheap cookie mixes. I suggest loading them now, then if they are released again, you can have more than one on your card - with differing expiration dates. Some go quickly, so get them loaded soon. CVS usually starts their sale prices and Extra Buck deals around 6pm on Saturday, so we stopped by and tried the Pampers deal. Andy was emailed a $4/$20 purchase (Yeah!) so we bought:

Krogering!

We had our monthly trip to Kroger this afternoon. Thankfully, Andy was able to go, so I didn't have to worry so much about the girls, and could concentrate on my list. Total spent: $109.62, Total saved: $82.05, about 41% of the bill. This inlcudes 6 things of ground beef, 2 fully cooked pot roast tubs, and a family pack of chicken breasts, which was about $30 of the bill.

Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic - 30% off entire purchase

Gap Give and Get is this weekend, starting 3/18 through Sunday, March 21st. This coupon (here) is good all weekend at Gap, Gap Outlet, Old Navy, and Banana Republic. and can be used multiple times. This may be a good time to stock up on some summer items if you need new clothes for the family. We used ours yesterday at Old Navy, where we got 2 dresses, 4 shirts, 4 pairs of sandals, for the girls, and 4 shirts for Andy and me. We spent about $89.00 for everything, but saved $87.00 after discounts and coupon.
